Sometimes, kittens are a little bit reckless in their enthusiasm, and take risks that they better should not take.... like engaging in the dangerous activity of 'crocodile jumping.'

This kitten is extremely cute, but there's a problem: he doesn't want to be cute! In fact he hates it when people lift him and pet him because he thinks of himself as very tough!

Kitten of the Week: Little J!

Hello kittens! 

This week's "Kitten of the Week Award" goes to a very special kitten: Little J! Although, strictly speaking, he's not a kitten, he was given the award for having surgery and looking more like The Sad Kitten when he runs out of tuna sandwiches.

The Sad Kitten objected at first, because Little J "does not have whiskers", therefore he cannot possibly be "a kitten". But Little A convinced him that he was "kinda" a kitten anyway..

The difference between 'being alone' and 'being lonely'.

People should understand that there is a big difference between 'being alone' and 'being lonely'. The Sad Kitten can be perfectly comfortable being alone, without feeling lonely... as long as he has a tuna sandwich to keep him company.

Mărțișor kitten.

Hi Kittens,

In this special edition of his blog, The Sad Kitten wishes all the 'fetele' (= girls) in Romania a very Happy Mărțișor!! On this first day of March, people celebrate the arrival of spring, and traditionally the girls get nice flowers and presents from the boys. 

The Sad Kitten gave Little A a flower, hoping to get a tuna sandwich in return...
