A New Friend.

Hi kittens, I hope you're doing well!

Today is a very special day, because exactly one week ago, a new kid joined The Sad Kitten's block! Her name is Pixie, and she's the most adorable baby chihuahua you've ever seen!

She was rescued and adopted by a very dear friend of mine, and stole my heart the second I saw her! Needless to say that I felt the need to incorporate her to The Sad Kitten's world!

So, to celebrate this wonderful occasion, here's a snapshot of Pixie's first encounter with The Sad Kitten! And below a picture of the adorable Pixie!

That's all for now, kittens!! See you next time and please stay safe, happy, and healthy!!

The Blues..

Hi kittens, I hope you're all well!! It has been a while! The Sad Kitten was in hiding because of the Covid-19, but now he surfaced so he'll appear here more often!

You know, sometimes people (and kittens too!) get the blues.
Yes, they do! And that has nothing to do with turning blue like a smurf, but everything to do with being sad.

Here we see Little J being pretty blue after a party: abandoned, prostrated on a table, a glass of soda and a bowl of salty peanuts in front of him, a fallen glass of something wet, that somebody left behind, confetti all around..

In the background, a 'bar tender kitten' cleans a glass and wonders when Little J will leave too, cos he wants to close down and go to sleep.

Do you have that feeling too sometimes? That odd, sort of '03:00 o'clock in the morning on a new year's day feeling,' when you find yourself wondering what's the sense of it all...? Well, Little J does. Very often. And the 'bar tender kitten'? Well, he's just looking at the clock, and wishing he was sleeping..

That's all for now, kittens!! See you next time and please stay safe, happy, and healthy!!
